Amazing Opp
Hi All!
My friend and fellow creative mentor, Shauna Maness, is hosting Crash Courses for those of you who are interested in learning more about taking cool pictures and your camera. She and her sweet hubby live in Germany, but she will be coming in this November & December to Texas!
This course is for people who love to take pictures. And for those of you who scrapbook, this would kick those scrapbooks up a notch with amazing photos of your most precious memories.
However, this is NOT for pros or those desiring to turn professional. Shauna is going to offer a seperate course for us peeps.
I spent a week with her early on when I was just getting started. I learned so much about how to use my camera and the technical side of things. It enabled me to fine tune my gift even more and bring to life the pictures I saw in my head.
She is a brilliant photographer and an amazing all-around gal who loves the Lord. I would highly recommend that you look into taking one of these courses. Your time would be well spent and you would walk away with tons of knowledge.
Here is the info:
I've been doing lots of editing! Check back soon for a few of my favorites from each session and wedding.

Does it matter what kind of camera we use? How in depth will this be...what prior knowledge should we have? Maybe I can round up a few girls.
Hey Girl!
From my understanding, this first course mentioned here would be for those who just want to learn how to take better pictures in general.
I think you, Sarah, would probably benefit more from the pro courses.
Also, Shauna uses Canon equipment.
For the regular courses (this one mentioned), I think any camera would be fine.
However, the pro courses I would think that a digital SLR would be what was needed.
I'll see if Shauna will check this post from time to time to answer some of these questions.
I knew you would be interested!
Love ya,
Lyns
hello girls!!
you are correct lyns... the SALSA CRASHcourse is for anybody, any camera! it will be more tips and tricks than nitty-gritty technical info- i will get to the nitty-gritty when we have a pro-weekend!
i think a lot of the people signed up shoot with d-slr's so i will teach specific to each class...
but, d-slr's aren't required!
no background is required...
come one, come all!
i'll be checking back daily to answer questions!!
I can't wait for the pro's course! I have so much to learn! I feel like I rely too much on my editing skills to make better photos when I really need to be using my camera to its fullest potential! Looking forward to it and meeting Shauna!!
