For the photographers out there that read this blog, listen up!

There is an upcoming workshop in New Orleans would be amazing to attend! It offers some of the MOST incredible photographers all in ONE workshop. And New Orleans is not that far from us. It is better than driving to SoCal.

This is very advanced notice, but my hunch is that it is going to fill up so fast. Some of my all-time favorite photographers are going to be there.

This is a little too far for me to plan my life around- Oct. 08. I might even have a baby on the way by then. Who knows! But, I wanted to put this info out there because I feel that there may be someone itching to go.

CLICK HERE to find out more details.

If you are a photographer who reads this, would you give me a shout out and let me know you exist! Leave me a comment. I would love to keep in touch and read your blog if you have one.

Peace and Love!
Lyns

Are you going or just recommending it? I would LOVE to go! I just worry about not being experienced enough AND I'm not sure I would want to go alone.

Also, how do you do this: www.theblogisfound.com

There is another photographer that blurs the bottom portion of their photos...I'll have to find it.

Hey Sarah!

Thanks for leaving a comment. This bring my totals up to ONE photographer that reads my blog! Woohooo!

Anyways, I would love to go too. I just can't plan that far in advance with the kiddos. But, from my understanding, spaces will fill in fast because the line-up is amazing!

About the photo.....I can't find which one you are talking about. It just loads the whole blog.

Love ya!

The photos that blur about the bottom half of the image. Really weird and kinda cool...on Cameron's you have to scroll down to the guys sitting.

Make that 2 photographers that read your blog! This sounds awesome! I would only go if we all three went together..and like you said, so hard to plan that far in advance, especially with little Brody going to be about 8-9 months old. But it would be awesome. Thanks for sharing with us Lyns!

I need to know everything that you know or have saved on copyrght laws...ugh! Lovely Larra is doing some research for me in her spare time. I don't mind doing the research. I just have a situation that needs clarification. THANKS and I LOVE YOU! I am so grateful God plopped you into my life (via the yellow pages).

Oh no! That stinks.

I found this site to be helpful. It is called www.photolaw.net.

From my understanding, (if it is your images in question) you are the owner of that image and if it is reproduced without your consent or knowledge, that is illegal. I don't know the knitty gritty so I would have to get more details.

I'm emailing you! Love ya! I'm glad Larra is on this.

When my internet isn't impossibly slow, I try to make it on to your blog.

That seems like it would be really cool... but, then I saw the price tag. Maybe I need to get a job first!

I'm definitely gonna be paying you a visit when I get back in the States. There is so much more I want to know about photography.

Sounds like a deal Ryan! I will talk photography and you can talk Photoshop! There is SOOOO much I want to know about that so we can pick each other's brains. EWWWWW!

See ya when I see ya!

This brings my photographer totals up to 3 who read my blog. All is well!

Ohhhh, and I know what you mean about the price tag. Stink. Who could even pay that and justify it?

Maybe we can hide in the bushes and take notes.

Cool!

Hi Lynsey,
I am not sure if we have met or not, but I go to Living Hope as well. I think I found your site from Heather's. Though I cannot and will not say that I am a photographer, I am fascinated with photography, and really like the work you do.

I did have a couple of questions, or perhaps you wouldn't mind blogging on photo storage and organization.

My family has been fortunate enough to inherit the vast majority of the family's last 100+ years of photos which amounts to anywhere from 10,000 to 30,000 photographs, and could be more. Do you have any recommendations or links to information on preserving these? I am planning on scanning and saving to the computer, but what is the best way to keep the originals?

Thanks for your help,
Jimmy
